Join the Waitlist for Our Fall Tour!
At Stable Harvest Farm, students don’t just learn about food—they experience it. Each visit is an opportunity to connect with the land, meet the animals, and see where food really comes from. We welcome students from Grades 2–12 for educational and hands-on learning opportunities. Our 12-station educational tour is an immersive learning experience. Led in small groups by our knowledgeable staff and volunteers, the students are able to explore themes related to sustainable farming and the natural environment. We also offer free educational resources to support learning in the classroom.
Bring your classroom learnings to life!
What To Expect
Warm Welcome & Orientation

When your class arrives, our team will greet you with a short welcome and overview of the day. We’ll divide students into small, guided groups to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
Guided Learning Tour (12 Stations)

Students will rotate through a total of 12 stations, each led by our knowledgeable staff who make learning fun, accessible, and connected to the BC Curriculum. Through hands-on activities, they’ll get a real sense of what it’s like to be an organic farmer — and why sustainable farming matters. They’ll also get an up-close look at our beehives and discover the inside buzz on how bees help farms thrive.
Animal Encounters

Following their time in our education gardens, students will meet our loveable farm animals. Currently, our farm is home to chickens, dwarf goats, alpacas, miniature pigs, and lambs!
Learning Beyond the Farm

At the end of each tour, students will take home a free jar of honey from the farm. We also provide additional learning activities you can use after your visit. Explore them on our Educational Resources page.
Wrap-Up & Reflection

We end the visit with a short reflection and group discussion to help students connect their farm experience with what they’re learning in class and how they can apply it at home.
