Stable Harvest Farm brings together the Jewish community with events and holidays in a beautiful garden setting.

Ocean Wise Tree Planting Project
Together with YouthToSea, we planted trees on the farm to help reduce agricultural runoff from entering our waterways.
Backpack Buddies
Backpack Buddies provides weekend meals to vulnerable BC children. We partnered with them to provide fresh produce to remote Indigenous communities that included recipe cards to create delicious comfort meals.
SukkahFest
We opened up our grounds to welcome Jewish Vancouver for their SukkahFest. As an agricultural farm that celebrates Jewish traditions, hosting this festival was a natural fit.
Partnering with Vancouver Talmud Torah
Joining forces with the school’s Grade 7 students, we donated produce and the students packaged and delivered it to younger classmates, learning the work, organization and dedication of farm to table agriculture along the way. These lessons were tied into their current school curriculums, creating a more meaningful learning experience.
Beekeeper School Visits
Our on-site beekeeper loves visiting classrooms and bringing the knowledge of the farm directly to schools. Learning about bees is an excellent way to enhance ecosystem curriculums.
Donations to Christ Church Cathedral, Vancouver
Our produce donations allowed the Cathedral to expand their community meal offerings from 70-120, warming our hearts and their bellies.
KidsSafe
Throughout the summer of 2021, Stable Harvest Farms provided KidSafe with over 10,000 pounds of fresh, local, organic produce which went home with over 350 children and their families. Several of KidSafe’s youth also made the trip out to Langley to experience the farm in person, harvesting their own potatoes and learning about farming practices.
