"Thank you, we had an excellent time. The students were so excited to know that we can book for a spring field trip. I have already put us on the list. Kristin the bee keeper had them so engaged, she was so fun to learn from! "

"On behalf of Lochdale Community School, I want to extend a heartfelt thank-you for welcoming our students and families to your beautiful farm today.

Everyone had an amazing time — from decorating pumpkins and winnowing French horticultural beans to feeding and meeting your friendly farm animals. The experience was not only fun but also wonderfully educational for our students and their families. The children were so excited to take home their pumpkins and jars of farm-fresh honey!

We are so grateful for the time, care, and enthusiasm your team put into making the day such a success. Please also pass along our thanks to all the volunteers and staff who helped during the visit — their kindness and support made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day.

Our Lochdale families truly had a fantastic, joy-filled experience, and we deeply appreciate your partnership in creating these meaningful hands-on learning opportunities. Attached please find some photos that highlighted our visit today. Thanks again and a great weekend!"

"The fieldtrip was AMAZING! The class absolutely loved it. Things we loved was that it was so engaging, each station peaked the students attention, the opportunity to meet the animals and interact with them was so precious. Thank you so much for allowing us an opportunity to come in and learn. Your team was so knowledgeable, kind and organized. Hats off to your crew!

I have put my name on the spring waitlist in hopes we can have another opportunity to visit."

"Hello! We all loved our time today. I loved how they pivoted due to the rain and we did a pumpkin craft instead. Brilliant and fun!

They enjoyed learning about the calico popcorn and we talked about how interesting and exciting it was to be surprised by the colour and size when we husked it. We are looking forward to putting it in the microwave tomorrow. I liked that they talked about the indigenous connection with the calico popcorn and what a bonus it was to see pole being carved. Amazing! Of course the animals and kittens are always a hit with the kiddos!

We came in the spring, which was amazing! But by far with the pumpkins, hands on husking and pole carving, this was so much better. I think this is my favourite place to visit and have been teaching for 28 years, so I have seen my fair share of field trips!

Thanks again for everything!"

"We were so thrilled with our visit to your farm yesterday. I am appreciative that each student got a "hands on" experience. I also liked how things kept moving and the amount of activities we did. I would love to return next year."

"Thank you for hosting us at your farm a couple of days ago. It is very kind of you to host everyone every year. The new improvements on the farm really added excitement to go to the farm.

I especially enjoyed the new animals and the soccer field where even the teachers played soccer which was hilarious! I loved the new animals like the pigs, lambs, goats, and even alpacas! I loved when we got to feed the animals the leaves that we picked and harvested.

Even though I dislike bees, the bees were actually very interesting. Thank you again for hosting us. I am looking forward to coming back to the farm next year."

"Thank you so much for taking us to the farm. It was very kind of you to let us enjoy our last shabbat of grade 6 at the farm. We did so many nice and fun activities that all your staff put very hard work into. I learned so many new and interesting facts about bees. It was very cool to learn even though I am pretty scared of bees. We got to pick some of the turnips and I got a very big one. I love the new animals you got, the goats were the cutest thing ever. One of them climbed on me because they wanted the food. I will always remember that moment. I loved feeding the animals. It was so cute. I found it very cool how we got to cut the grass for the animals. Then we feed them with the stuff we cut. The alpacas were so cute and they started having a fight. It was very funny to watch. The sheep were also so cute. And I loved feeding the sheep and alpaca. I love the new turf and the eating area and it was really fun to do tumbling and stunts on. Also I think many people really enjoyed the soccer field. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your farm and learn about it. I hope you have a great summer."
